How do I add a new tanning bed (Room)

Adding a new tanning bed that you have just added to your salon in SalonTouch is very easy and straightforward.

The FIRST STEP is to create a new room:

1. Go to Setup and then Rooms
   
   
2. Click on Add and then select either a Blank Record or and existing room to use as a template for your new room
   
   
3. Fill in all the required details for your new room (such as Timer type, Box number, Box Port etc. etc.)
   
   
4. Click Save when done (you have now created a new room)

The SECOND STEP is to add the new room to your design layout so it is visible in the Activity screen

Depending on your previous layout you may be able to add this room to your existing layout if there is space. If there is no space you will need to select a new layout and increase the number of rows and columns and then do a new layout again.

After you have saved, existed and then logged back into SalonTouch, you will be able to see this new room in your activity screen and be able to put clients in bed as usual.
