Error 516 when opening SalonTouch LIVE

This article applies to clients using our hosted Internet-based solution.  This article does not apply to salons running SalonTouch locally.

When opening the SalonTouch Live icon, you receive the error message Error 516.

This indicates that the Internet connection at the salon is down. Make sure that your internet is working and try again.

SalonTouch offers a Safemode product that will allow you to operate without Internet.  If your salon has this, click on the SalonTouch (Safemode) icon to open SalonTouch.  Go back to SalonTouch LIVE when the internet access comes back.

If you do not have this Safemode feature, you can add this to the salon services by contacting our sales department at 877-725-6686 option 2.
