Creating a new Room

The Tanning module of SalonTouch can handle any type of room based service from massage, to tanning, to cryo-therapy.  The important thing is that the appointments and usage are all room based instead of being based on the person providing the service.

1. Click on the Setup button at the top of the screen.
2. Click Rooms on the left side of the screen.
3. Click on Add New Room on the left side of the screen.
   
   
4. Select either "Create a Blank Record" or select an existing room and click OK to use that room as a template.  Using a template is especially helpful and time saving when creating a new room that is very similar to an existing room.
   
   

   

   
   
5. Single-click on you selection and click the OK button.
6. Complete all the desired information in the room.
   
   
7. If this is your first bed, you will need to setup the timer information.  Setting up the timer information can be found here: 
   
   
   

   

   
   
8. Complete the options and surcharge tax settings for the room.
   
   

   

   
   
   
9. Click Save at the bottom of the screen when you have completed the setup of the new room.
