Using a Barcode Scanner in SalonTouch Evolution

SalonTouch allows you to use barcodes and barcode scanners to scan products or gift cards.

You can also print barcodes directly from SalonTouch and attach these to your products such as lotions or other products.

To input a barcode for a particular product do the following:

1. Got to Setup --> Products.
   
   
2. For each of the products that you wish to use with a barcode scanner type in or scan the unique barcode you wish to use in the barcode section.
3. Click Save when done.
   
   
   

   

   
   
   
   
   Creating New Barcodes
   
   

   To create new barcodes do the following:

   1. Click on the Bar Code button and it will pop up a window that will allow you print barcodes on Avery labels. Input the Barcode Number, Description and Price.
   2. Select the type of labels and continue.
   3. After printing, attach these labels to the appropriate products.
      
      
   4. Now when you go to the Register simple scan the barcode on the product and it will bring up the correct  corresponding product.
      
      
   5. Tender as usual.
