How do I Create an EFT Membership Contract

SalonTouch has the ability to have membership contracts electronically generated and either printed or stored in the database using an electronic signature pad.

To Create a new contract.

1. Click Setup at the top left.
2. Click Release Forms on the left.
3. A list of release forms and contracts will be displayed.
   
4. To create a new one, click New at the left side navigation pane.
5. You will be asked to give the new contract a name:
   
6. Clients with the ePad electronic signature form can create text forms that can accept an electronic signature.
7. The Is EFT Form allows the form to be assigned to an EFT membership service to be signed at the time of sale.  The letters EFT will be applied to the front of the file name for ease of organization.
8. Once you have named it, click Create.
9. A new Notepad window will appear that will allow you to create a new contract or release.  SalonTouch does not include an example of an EFT contract.  You will want to consult with your state laws or attorney on contracts before creating an EFT membership contract.
10. You can copy and paste or type directly into the notepad window.
11. When you are finished, click Save.

To Edit an existing contract:

1. Click Setup.
2. Click Release Forms on the left.
3. A list of release forms and contracts will be displayed.
   
4. You can double click on any existing contract on the list to edit it in Notepad.exe.
5. A Notepad window will appear that will allow you to directly edit the contract or release.  SalonTouch does not include an example of an EFT contract.  You will want to consult with your state laws or attorney on contracts before creating an EFT membership contract.
6. You can copy and paste or type directly into the notepad window.
7. When you are finished, click Save.
