Electronic signature pad installation (ePad)

Download the files needed for the ePad

  1. Download the installer from Download ePad Universal Installer
  2. Download the IntegriSign Desktop software: IntegriSign Desktop
  3. For clients that are using PDF documents, download the pDoc Signer Software for Signature Pads: pDoc Signer.


Install the ePad driver

  1. Right-click on UI12.1R12145_setup.exe and select Run as administrator.  File name may not be the exact same for download.
  2. Click Next
  3. Accept the terms of the license agreement in order to continue the install.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Enter the user and company name.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Install.
  9. Plug in the ePad when it asks you to.
  10.  Click Finish.


Install the IntegriSign Desktop software

  1. Right-click on IntegriSignDesktop12.0_R1416.exe and select Run as administrator.  File name may not be the exact same for download.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement in order to continue the install.
  4. Enter the user and company name.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Next and the install will begin.
  9. Click Finish


Install the PDF Document Signer software 

  1. For clients that are using PDF documents, right-click on pdocsigner.exe and select Run as administrator.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement in order to continue the install.
  4. Enter the user and company name.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select you install language and click Next.
  8. Click Next and the install will begin.
  9. Click Finish.


Installation of the hardware drivers and associated software has now completed.  You should be able to see the epad in the Windows devices and printers as an unspecified device.

Activating ePad in SalonTouch

If your salon has the software activation module purchased for your license, our sales department can be contacted to get the activation code for your hardware.  Please call 877-725-6686 option 2 to get your software module activated.


Deciding what the ePad is used with 

  1. Once the ePad software module is activated you are able to choose what options the salon can capture a signature with.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. Click ePad.
  4. You have several options to choose from:
    • Use with processing Credit Card sales: Only used with legacy Worldpay transactions.  Chip readers store the signature online.
    • If a client does not not have an ePad signature on file then automatically create on the first time they sign the ePad at POS or when checking in to tan: This will store a client signature on file from the last time they used the signature pad.  It can be used for signature comparison purposes
    • Use to check clients in when tanning: When a client is checked in to tan, a signature request will appear replacing check in books.
    • Use to sign Tan Release form and Parental Consent Form: These documents can replace the paper copies and are stored in the SalonTouch database.
    • Use to sign EFT Contracts: These documents can replace the paper copies and are stored in the SalonTouch database.
